How it Works

The Archive Ledger is the central database containing over 10,000 verified Etruscan inscriptions.

You can search by word fragment, transliteration, or full sentence. Try using the common examples above to explore how terms change based on regional dialects and time periods. The database will automatically filter by inscription type (funerary vs. votive).

Developer API

The ledger runs on an inverted index with strict Levenshtein distance matching for corrupted transliterations.
