Commentary

Piacenza Liver: Outer rim (celestial regions). Bronze model of sheep liver used for haruspicy (divination by entrails). Found 1877 near Gossolengo. Divided into 40+ sections inscribed with deity names. Flat side = sky map; convex = entrails. Key source for Etruscan theology and celestial topography.
